Description
Situated deep in the Croajingolong National Park the Point Hicks lighthouse has stood for over a century guarding Australias coastline. Two unique adjoining heritage cottages nestled under its tower are available for rent. Each sleeps up to 8 persons easily with an additional 4 possible in one sleepout. With sweeping views of Bass Strait right from your own verandah you will see numerous and varied species of birds, seals, dolphins, and whales in season.
Whether walking in pristine wilderness, swimming in rivers or the sea, surfing, fishing, mountain biking or just sitting watching the ocean you will experience relaxation at its peak. The cottages are well appointed with wood fires, comfortable couches and complete kitchens. As the nearest town is around 50 kms away you will need to bring all you food and drink as well as personal needs but all else can be provided.
