Nobby's Retreat - Dunedin
Nobby’s Retreat is approximately 25 minutes from the City of Dunedin and 15 minutes from the Peninsula Tourist attractions e.g. Albatross Colony. Right next door is Fletcher House which is a fully restored 1909 villa. Location Dunedin is a city that can be enjoyed all year round – in summer take a boat trip on the Monarch and discover the many walking tracks nearby. In winter you can take in the lovely view from the bach, get buried in a good book and stay warm with the heat pump! Spring is the time for yacht races in the Harbour – view them from the comfort on your armchair on the deck!
Liz and Jeff have been operating Nobby’s Retreat for around 4 years. They have met many wonderful people who have totally enjoyed their special wee house and the peacefulness it offers |
Out & About Liz and Jeff can point you in the direction of a range of walking tracks nearby. Pack a picnic lunch and head out for a day of exploring. Explore the local attractions such as Happy Hens and Broad Bay China, or try an Art workshop. “Our favourite activity is a walk around the local bay, there is also a popular children’s playground just up the road”

Don't Miss A Visit to.. The Portobello Aquarium on Hatchery Rd, Portobello or book a wildlife tour. A cruise on the Monarch is also very popular

Holiday Activities for Children The Aquarium always run great holiday programmes for children. They have a ‘touch’ tank which is a hit with everyone. The local playground is also just a few minutes walk from the house.
