Great house, great views and very warm with the logfire going. We all slept well in comfy beds. Dianna's communication was friendly and prompt. Certainly set up for a family to share a great holiday with another family. Plenty of room to spread out in if you get stuck inside due to weather- but Castlepoint is wonderful in any weather and in this house you get a grandstand view of the elements! Thanks Dianna.

We absolutely love visiting this place - have been a couple of times now, and it is always a delight to stay at. The views are unparalleled, and the well-equipped kitchen and lovely log fire mean it's the perfect way to spend a weekend. We will definitely be back to enjoy it again!

This is a great family plus home to stay in, We went with family friends 9 of us in total and there was plenty of room.
The views were amazing. The owner are fantastic too very helpful.
We had a fantastic time and are hoping to do it again next year Christmas time.

Fantastic house with spectacular views. We loved sitting in front of the fire with a wine and watching the waves roll in at the Gap. Easy access to spectacular coastline walk and a quick walk down to the main beach and shop. Thanks so much, will definitely be back over summer! John

The house was just perfect.
The fire was lovely for the cooler nights of winter and the owner was great to deal with, super efficient. The views are amazing, quite a few stairs to get to the top floor :-) but well, well worth it.
Totally recommend the house to anyone visiting Castlepoint. A house with a special view that would be hard to beat anywhere in New Zealand.

We had the most amazing weekend at this batch. The views are PHENOMENAL and the house is very cosy and practical. We were 4 families with little kids and young and old enjoyed their stay.

This house has an EXCEPTIONAL view and a large deck that is safe for young children. We have been to Castlepoint a few times now and this is the best house in which we have stayed. The stars at night are definitely worth staying up late for and the scenic backdrop is stunning to wake up to. We had a fantastic family experience at Eyrie Magic and hope to come back again soon.

We stayed here with our extended family for two nights as part of our 26th wedding anniversary break away, and everyone just fell in love with the place. The house was warm and comfortable, with generous and well laid out living space for all to enjoy spending time together. The superb views were the icing on the cake, and the host/landlord was a pleasure to deal with. We look forward to returning again some day.

My wife and I stayed here to celebrate our second wedding anniversary, and were thoroughly amazed with the place. Everything possible was provided, and the views from anywhere in the place are outstanding:) Felt so at home here and didn't want to leave, coolest looking house we've stayed in. Dianna was so helpful with everything, recommend this place to all:) We'll be back, definitely enough room for the whole clan as well:)

A very cosy and well equipment weekend bolt hole for a family of group of friends. we loved the views, fireplace and relaxed feel of the place. would definately go back!

I have used Eyrie Magic on a number of occasions for Womens Retreat weekends and it's just the most perfect, magical place. Castlepoint is stunning and the views and energy of the place are just wonderful. Highly recommend.

We loved staying here - what a lovely house - spacious and well equipped. Castlepoint itself was lovely and also very interesting. We wished we had been able to stay longer. The view that this house had over the Bay as well as the beach was just magnificent. Lovely houseowners to deal with too - all in all it really was "magic".
