“What an excellent house to stay in!!!!!!! Everything you need is there, beds are comfy, kitchen well supplied, even had a portacot and a highchair. The downstairs renovations still have a lot of work left to go but the teenagers didn’t care at all. The access stairs are pretty steep and narrow so just take that into account if making a booking with anybody who has a physical disability. The bed configuration is a bit different than suggested more like: Bed 1 – 1 King, 1 bunk, Bed 2 – 3 single, 1 bunk, Bed 3 – 1 Queen, 1 single, 1 trundle, Bed 4 – 1 double pull out sofa, Bed 5 (downstairs renovations) – 1 double, 1 bunk and 5 singles. Would highly recommend this house as a nice relaxing place to stay.”
“Excellent, clean, tidy and well equiped house to stay in – fantastic spa bath, amazing views and even had a portacot and a high chair for the little bloke. Plenty of beds for everyone and the teenagers even had their own hang out area downstairs. Did I say fantastic views already? That’s because there is an extrodinary view out of nearly every window. The only drawback to the place is the very steep narrow stairs to get in – not really suitable for anyone with a disability, but other than that I can’t recommend it enough!”
“Our 3 generation family of 11 have just spent 4 days at this great location. Tons of room for us all and when the teenagers weren’t surfing the pool/table tennis table was put to good use. The house is a good mix of comfort and relaxing surroundings. We would definately choose to stay again if the opportunity arises which I hope it will! “
“LOVED IT we went with lots of friends and kids had a great time we all found the house to have the best location and the kids spent hours playing in the dunes and we could watch them from the kitchen, sooo cool as parents, whats more they returned with a whistle for meals. so relaxing. Thanks very much for renting to us.”
“Yes I agree with all of you, on a great relaxing place to spend a few days. Sorry I just forgot to place my feedback at time of stay. I took my sick dad to stay and he really enjoyed it he is from South Island in the Marlborough Sounds. A real homley place even in the cooler months. Hope to stay again”
“We had a ball again! Renovations are coming along well, Our weather wasn’t the best but it doesn’t really matter here, we swam we played in the sand dunes, but the best we put the kids to bed and we relaxed, it’s great to have a home that we can all go together and have the ultimate ‘kiwi holiday’ like we used to with our mums and dads! The house is truly a good taste of ‘kiwiarna’ from yestur-year. “
“If you are looking for a spacious, well kept house – located closest to the beach then this is the place to stay. Not only are you greeted with a huge home, with plenty of space for 2 rather big families easily, you have amazing uninterrupted views of the coastal scenery and a decent games room to enjoy too. Our children enjoyed the stairs, the games room and being able to run freely on a big section with a huge deck. My husband and I enjoyed spending time together in the living areas, with the lovely fire at night and being able to relax while admiring the views. Absolutely loved this bach, would love to go back – in fact im sure we will.”

“Great spot. Big house, by no means the flashest house out there, but in my opinion a good honest beach house, and fairly priced. I’d stay there every time, over one of those big new places. highly recommended. Also for great fishing I recommend Willi B, of the Rehu-tai, and Dean Hatchard of the Ventura.”
