“We had a fantastic stay. The house was just perfect for us and our two children. It was far enough from the Haihei beach to be nice and quiet but close enough to enjoy the nearby beaches. Feeding the donkey was a real hit! Thanks so much.”

“One word…...Heavenly!!! We found ourselves in an absolute little haven, when we arrived on a rainy Friday afternoon. The cottage was cosy and immaculate. Everything has been thought of, so one really only has to pack clothes and food. The views from the veranda are awe inspiring and beg for lazy coffee’s in the morning, while looking across the fields (and resident donkey) at the glistening ocean. Our kids had a ball. They fell in love with the animals and made new friends. A return visit is definately on the cards. Thank you :-)”
“Gorgeous setting – quiet, beautiful, private and so central to all the places we love: Hot Water Beach, Cathedral Cove, Hahei, Ferry Landing, Purangi Wine Estate and Whitianga… The old school is charming and comfortably fitted out. We loved being “home”. Our daughter loved being on the farm. Our hosts were so thoughtful and accommodating. Many, many thanks. Look forward to seeing you again.”
“The School house was a great place to stay and so suitable for young children – our daughter loved feeding the donkey and checking out the chickens. Quiet, relaxing & super comfortable and Graham & Liz were so helpful and friendly it really made the whole holiday. Would thoroughly recommend staying here to anyone. Wish we lived closer so we could visit more often.”
“A totally amazing location with such character and amazing views towards the ocean. Clean, Stylish and well equipped; this property is close to Hahei but has the advantage of a country setting. The highlight of a 2 week trip to NZ.”
