Lovely space for me and my boys. Warm inviting hosts easy to deal with and organise stay. Clean and tidy, amenities available. Very close to beach less than 2 minute walk.
Good size fridge (no freezer).
Awesome thick curtains for night, felt very cozy. One suggestion is a clothes horse or something to hang wrt clothing on. Will 100% be staying again ๐Ÿ˜Š

It was very good , bed was comfortable and even though it was cold outside we were warm enough inside without needing to put the heater on, the only problem I had was I could not lock the door it seemed faulty..

Loved staying in this classic kiwi bach on the beach. Had everything we needed and bed was supremely comfy. We enjoyed sitting outside for a bbq in the sun. Thank you for providing such an affordable kiwi experience. Would love to come back sometime!!

This is a lovely place to stay. It is spacious and comfortable, and has a nice indoor/outdoor flow with the adjacent patio area. It is close to both the main beach and the lighthouse/reef area. Your hosts Brendan and Robyn are excellent - fun, friendly, welcoming and great communicators. Thanks very much - I'll definitely be back!

Yes,we most probably are on the lower end price wise of what is available elsewhere,but we do not rely on this for an income and feel that itโ€™s nice for people to get accommodation at the lower end of the market.Hopefully we do not lose bookings by being to cheap and people think itโ€™s not up to standard.Your comments will help this thanks.

Awesome place to stay, location is great, so close to the beach and the lighthouse. A very clean and comfortable place, plenty of room for the little one to run around and has all the creature comforts of home. Highly recommend for a great getaway and recharge.

Late on this review on this beautiful spot and awesome owners who were extremly welcoming and accomodating. My wife and i stayed here for a birthday weekend and could not of asked for a better stay. Lucky to have experienced a celebration for the local hotel owner and nice meal. Cosy, warm just perfect.

A lovely quiet stay midweek, the accommodation was everything we could want for a 2 night stay. The walk up to the lighthouse is great but tie you hat on first.
Communication with Robyn was excellent, before and post our stay.

We spent a weekend here, and everything was great. The communication to rent the place was smooth.
The place was really clean and organized, plenty of towels. The weather was cold, but the place itself was warm, and easy to warm it up. It was a great help that we could have the electric blankets turned on before we arrived, thank you!
The kitchen well equipped.
We had a great time here, a lovely little cosy place.

We really could not have asked for a better place to stay. The landlords were really accommodating and friendly, and supplied lots of helpful tips of things to do in the area. Back again. While the rest of NZ was either under water or enduring the mighty power of nature; here at Castlepoint we were sunbathing and swimming. Sensational 4 days. This time we went to the dunes and sandsurfed on boards and we also went to the caves at low tide. Thank you for the hospitality.

Castlepoint gave a great performance over Labour W/end. No wind, loads of sunshine and an abundance of attractions. To top it off was the accomodation with wonderful hosts. Everything we needed was here plus more. We could not have asked for a better weekend away. Will be back. Thank you :-)
