“Fantastic views from the lounge, well stocked kitchen with all you could ever want. Neat tidy and peaceful place to stay for a holiday. The kayaks were great to use on the lake although a bit of effort required to get them back up the drive. Would definitely stay again, highly recommended.”
“It is really beautiful spot with amazing views. We were travelling with my parents who visited us from Europe and staying in David & Pam holiday home was definitely one of the highlights of my parents’ holiday in NZ. Would also recommend as a perfect spot for a romantic escape.”

“Absolutely breathtaking view of Lake Tarawera and the mountain from lounge, dining, kitchen, bedrooms and bathroom!!! Cosy little lounge room with toasty log-fire (we were more comfortable here than back at home!!!) Giant master bedroom – comfortable, firm beds. Sweet little kitchen – loved the gas hob. Great selection of board games and jigsaw puzzles. Great selection of 60s and 70s music. Beautiful birdsong from the tuis and bellbirds outside.
We would also recommend this property for a romantic weekend away as it has a cozy/intimate feel to it. GREAT value for money!!!! Highly recommend this property. “

“A really superb place to stay. Gorgeous outlook from all rooms, lovely layout of house. Cosy with fire, heaters & electric blankets. Peaceful & Serene location. Well equipped with games for the rainy days. Thankfully we striked it lucky and had only 1 rainy day. The other days were quite lovely. Was great to have use of the kayaks too. Would highly recommend this place for a truly satisfying experience and home away from home. Great contact & service from David & Pam. Many thanks, It was a holiday to remember and well needed.”
