“This place is great. Feels luxurious while still feeling like a home away from home. The views are amazing from the huge decked area, the large bifold doors from the open plan lounges opening out on the deck and offering brezes throughout the house. Kathy’s place is down a long driveway/ road so is very quiet and private. The pool is awesome to cool you down when you can’t be bothered heading to the beach. Nice and close to the local shop which will easily meet your food shopping needs or just a leisurely 20-25min drive to the main town centre if that’s what you’re after. There were 8 of us in the house and we never felt like we were falling over each other. We also had a BBQ with 25-30 people and the ample room for everyone with room to spare. I would definitely recommend this place. We loved it so much we’ve booked again for next year!! “

“Class!!This is a stunning holiday home, perfect for larger families or three couples. The large bifold doors open on to a large deck with stunning views, the perfect palce to kick back with a cocktail and good book. The kids LOVED the pool which is the icing on the cake with this property. We’ll stay again. “

“what can you say about this house.We had a family wedding reception in this house .it was picture perfect.The guests were awed by the place.We self catered,bringing food from nz.kathy an tony were so helpful bringing us tables and flowers.its a home away from home,and very spacious it has every appliance we have at home . This house would a 5*+you should really think seriously about coming here forget your resorts.peace an tranquilty abound here.book youre trip get to raro hire a scooter or a car an get here.otherwise you will miss out on this gem.”

“Hi Kathy, thanks again for your fantastic place and your warm hospitality. When we first got there none of us could believe our luck in getting such an awesome place – you can’t really tell just how spacious and beautiful your place is from the web photos. We were gob-smacked anyway – could not stop smiling for a good hour or so! Everyone’s STILL thanking me for finding your place on the web.

As you know we were considering hiring somewhere closer to the beach but now that we realize just how close everything is and how easy it is to get around on scooters etc we’re so glad we chose your place over all the other options. The seven of us spent our last two nights on Rarotonga at the Sunset Resort, which was good too, but we really missed having our own group space and place to just be ourselves like we did at your place.

If you’re a traveller reading this and thinking about other options don’t waste your time looking at anything other than this place – I mean, we didn’t try every place on the Island obviously, but I can’t imagine it getting any better than this for such a reasonable price.

I cannot find the right words to say explain how very much we enjoyed the house and its facilities, the views were out of this world and the house, WOOHOOO it exceeded all our expectations ten fold…above all else, the hospitality shown to us by Kathy, Tony and the girls was just fantastic, THANK YOU guys for making our stay such a memorable and fun packed vacation….WE LOVED IT!!! And YESSS we will be back and would just love to stay in the house again…..THANK YOU Kathy for making our dreams come true!!!!”

“Wow – what a house! The views are to die for and you truely think you are in paradise. Kathy & Tony would have to be the most laid back couple we have ever met in our lives! The pictures on the internet don’t even come close to showing you what you are about to be entering. Space – you’ve got it! Everything you need & more – you’ve got it! Views – what more can I say – you’ve got it! Our friends that were also staying on the Island called this place the Taj Mahal & it most certainly deserves that name. A mansion hidden beautifully on the hillside with every bit of privacy you need. Our kids loved roaming through the tropical gardens & swimming in the pool. A rental car is a must, but this is all you are needing – full-stop. As everything else is supplied by your wonderful & warm hosts – Tony & Kathy. Thanks once again guys for a truely wonderful stay. “Nicknamed as the Manson to us, this place has given us good memories and the sense that we are in paradise. Just from the time we arrived, to the time we had left – we were just blown away.

This house has everything that you could think of and more. The view is stunning especially in the morning while you’ll having breakfast. And the pool that you can enjoy with the kids. The kitchen is fully equipped for a chef. Open living space and rooms are beautifully set.

Big ups to Kathy and Tony for a wonderful place in a beautiful setting. I will be keeping in touch so we can book our next trip back, can’t wait… “

“We would like to endorse all of the comments made by previous guests at Kathy and Tony’s marvelous house. We struggle to find the superlatives necessary to do this place justice. Being just a couple we rattled around inside this beautiful large property and could not believe how lucky we were to find it. Kathy and Tony are also a rare treat! If ever there we needed an excuse to come back to this tropical wonderland then they are it! Their presentation of the house is faultless and was only exceeded by the warmth of their welcome. Miss this and weep!”

“We found Kathy’s house to be a fantastic holiday home.

We holidayed there with another family with children, the youngest being 7 – two families totaling 11 stayed there comfortably

There was plenty of space for us all to enjoy time together or alone.

It was exceptionally clean, functional and full of beautiful views. Kathy has the kitchen set up wonderfully with everything we needed to enjoy cooking at the house.

Plenty of linen and towels for our stay and a laundry area of spectacular size..

I would recommend hiring a car if you stay here as it is set back from the main road, allowing you to enjoy the awesome views.

The pool was great fun for the kids and perfectly clean.

We left kathy’s house thinking that we had made a great choice and very happy that we had gone withthis option.

I still miss the awesome view from the master bedroom which is etched into my memory and have thought I would like to return for this alone!! J

“This was just an amazing place to stay. The house is gorgeous, we were blown away when we walked in. It is really large and has a magnificent view over the ocean with a huge deck off the front of the house, complete with barbeque. Everything was super clean, the facilities were great and Kathy and her family are delightful and welcoming. She even came up one night with the biggest cake I have ever seen for one of our party’s birthday! We were very happy here and far preferred it to a resort. The kitchen was a blessing too as food is very expensive on Rarotonga and we prepared most of our meals. If you decide to book this house you will not be disappointed!”
