Great value for money. Good selection of puzzles, etc. for rainy days. Liked being able to sit outside and there were some good walks nearby. Unfortunately, we had to clear out a lot of spiderwebs and relocate many spiders on arrival. This was probably because we were the first guests in a few weeks.

Could not have been a more perfect holiday - the bach is awesome classic kiwi summer style, and the deck, which isn't in the photos yet, made all our al fresco evenings very relaxed. We'll definitely be back within a year.

The bach was very suitable for our needs. Though small it has everything and it is near Coopers Beach and Mangonui. There three of us 2 grandchildren and myself. Beautiful weather and nice and quiet for me. I would stay again.

great central location. Beautiful sunset colours at night and bright sunny days. 15min to Awanui and not much further to Kaitaia. We had a brilliant trip up the beach to Cape Reinga with Harrisons and perfect Fish'n'Chips at Mangonui, as well as a car trip up Karekare and wine on the deck at the vineyard...didn't try the fishing but the beach is special and easily accessible. thanks Ian and Jan for sharing "your spot". :) rae and dawn

Well you can not imagine the great time we had there as dairy farmers we get little time off but to fine out about Jans lovely little cottage was a dream come true we had such a great time with so many beautiful beaches on your door step and a boat ramp just down the road and more fish than you can eat out there we just cant wait to come stay again the granparents stayed in a tent and then when we had to leave to milk the cows they contacted Jan and stayed a little longer you wont want to leave either BEX
