This was our perfect west coast experience..The beautiful house is fully equiped so just bring yourself and some meat and veges if you feel like cooking. there are plenty of spices, cooking oils and...wow imagine cooking food and watching crushing waves of Tasman sea from the kitchen's window or even watching perfect sunset on the sea !
Watch movie (or rugby !) on widescreen Sky TV (in the lounge or bedroom!) and make a fire in the fireplace, with the firewood provided. Wake up to the sound of the sea as you can watch it all day long even if it's raining just from your bed upstairs!
Go for climbing those sea cliffs in the morning and be careful of big waves!

A magical place. The location is stunning with amazing views and it feels so private. Was hard to leave so this is definitely a place to return to.

A stunning private, real kiwi bach. Nothing flash or fancy, (although the bathroom has recently had a makeover, adding a luxurious touch) warm feel and really is..right on the beach! The upstairs bedroom with sunroom and floor to ceiling glass slide doors walk out to a spacious all day sun deck. The bed is super comfortable and the views from there are spectacular. A short drive to Westport taking only 20-20mins at most where there is a supermarket, restaurants etc. We booked 2 nights and ended up extending, we will most certainly be back.

Perfect. We loved our 2 night stay here. Whole beach to oursleves, amazing rock cliffs to hang out on and watch massive waves.. then come back and watch the sunset from the deck. Amazing thankyou so much for this hidden gem :)

Loved our stay in this rustic little absolute beachfront bach. Had everything you could want for a relaxing holiday, loved the Sky tv on rainy days and a really comfortable bed from which you could watch the waves crashing in. I had to drag my wife away from this place as it was a perfect base for exploring the rest of the West Coast or just walking or fossicking around on your almost private beach. Next time we are on the Coast we would definitely stay here again.

what a gem. perfect for 2 couples and our little dog loved the beach. Just 15 minutes from Westport best town in nz great sat nite at charter club . for the beachhouse bath fab lounge very cumfy overall a great place to stay will definitely be back here asap many thanks to previous people for leaving house tidy and to joy for such a gem. her only mishap she should be living here full time cheers bob diane luke Danielle and flossy

This was the perfect holiday home for us, comfortable, private and full of surprises. The house is the perfect mix of home plus luxury with lots of little touches not normally found in a holiday rental. The living and sleeping areas are cosy and beautifully styled and the view from the main bedroom is amazing. We had weka visit every day and the dog loved having the beach so close. Not all the property is shown on the photos, there is a garden with a picnic table and a shed full of wood for those colder nights. We were there during the thunderstorms and had some amazing views. We'll definitely be back for another stay in the summer.

Perfect bach! Could not be any closer to sandy beach. Comphy bed, great bathroom, fantastic open fireplace.

FAVOURITE BACH! THE BEACH AND HOUSE ARE AS ONE. FROM EVERY ROOM A VIEW OF THE BEACH NOT JUST THE SEA. SPOTLESSLY CLEAN AND A GREAT BATHROOM. THE BACH WAS SO NATURALLY WARM WE NEVER USED ANY OF HEATING PROVIDIED. AN UNEXPECTED PLUS WAS SKYTV HAD ALL THE EXTRA STATIONS. THE MASTER BEDROOM WAS SO COMFORTABLE AND RELAXING WE FOUND IT DIFFICULT TO GET OUT OF BED IN THE MORNING -JUST LYING THERE AND WATCHING THE WAVES. HIGHLY RECOMENDED.

What a great place! a real Kiwi Bach and just the place to unwind and recharge!!
Sadly we could only have 2 nights.Next time we will definately stay longer so we can enjoy the beach, fishing walks etc that are all around. Watching the surf from the upstairs room sitting in the sun was just fabulous
The bach is very clean and is well equipped with all the basics that one needs for a holiday.Great bath! and the fire was wonderful, with heaters if we needed them
Dont go if you are expecting all the mod cons, do go if you are looking for peaceful and delightful place to relax in a wonderful environment

WE LOVE THIS BACH. VIEWS FROM EVERY ROOM NOT JUST THE UPSTAIRS BEDROOM. VERY VERY CLEAN. THE PERFECT MIX OF BACH STYLE WITH TOUCHES OF LUXURY LIKE THE BATHROOM AND QUALITY LINEN/DUVET. EXTREMELY GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY. CANT WAIT TO COME BACK!

We had a wonderfull, nearly 3 days, 2 nights. Really enjoyed the facilities
& stepping onto the beach from the front door. Next stay will be for longer & will fish, whitebait, gather Green-lipped mussels, & watch the Little Blue Penguins. Loved the warming character fire place & unlimited
firewood supply on the beach!! We will recomend a stay here to all!!

This is a lovely, comfortable little bach with lots of character. Situated right on the beach, it is the perfect spot to unwind. Very well equipped and an added bonus that we could take our dog! Highly recommended.
