This stay has been a highlight of our 9 weeks in NZ. The host, Paul and Linda, are generous, knowledgeable helpful, insightful and fun. The house is well equipped and very comfortable! The setting is amazing from the views to the fresh fruits, nuts, etc. of which the host and very generous. The story of Ithilien Farm is a fascinating one and a tour of the grounds shows evidence of careful/insightful planning and hard work. This the perfect base from which to explore, Abel Tasman, Kahurangi NP, fly fish the Motueka and explore all the Motueka Valley has to offer. We came for a visit but left with new friends!

We had the most relaxing few days stay at Ithilien Farm. Paul and Linda gave us the loveliest welcome when we arrived, even providing fresh baked bread and some supplies for breakfast which was totally unexpected. We were invited to make use of their lovely swimming pool area as well as herbs and salad ingredients from their garden. The cottage is very well equipped and the perfect spot to just relax with a book on the deck with the comfortable fold out chairs provided. The location is amazing with tui and bellbird song to serenade you in the evening, and the nearest coffee just a few minutes drive away at Dunbar Estates Winery and cafe, and shopping at Motueka just a 30 minute drive away. If you are lucky enough to secure a booking at Ithilien Farm you will be so glad you did, as we learned that many who stay choose to return year after year.

Lovely location and the hosts were great. Pool has an amazing view and we had a great stay here. Thanks so much for a great stay!
