Boating (2 concrete boat ramps), water skiing, swimming, Kyaks(8 provided, Lakeside houses only), fishing, walking and Mountain Biking are very popular activities. Lake Tekapo is just 40 minutes away where there are numerous restaurants, an ice/rollerskating rink/snow tubing/hot pools/day spa and the areas skifields are also in close proximity. Whether you love the great outdoors or enjoy the tranquillity of some of New Zealand's finest landscape, Black Forest is the ideal holiday destination for you.
