Bach is 50 metres up private access pathway to Mt Hobson summit from parking space at owners' main home. Ideal AKL City Base to explore NZ. 2 minutes form Market Road exit from main North / South highway that bisects AKL City. Walking distance to Remuera Railway Station, bus stops to City and Cafes / shops in upmarket Remuera Village. 2 minutes drive to Cornwall Park. 20 minutes from the airport. A short sharp climb to a cottage on the upper treeline of Mt Hobson, and it was so restful once we got there. Unfortunately we had flu the entire week but waking up every morning to sky, trees and birdsong made recuperation much more pleasant. Everything we needed for a short break.
