A truly wonderful place to stay is No1 Cottage on the cliff at Northcote Point just 15minutes by car from the CBD and the ferry to city is over the road. Catch the ferry and go anywhere on the harbour. Fantastic panoramic views from every window to watch the boats go by and the city lights at night. A truly romantic getaway hidden on the North Shore which has wonderful beaches everywhere. This is a truly unique experience with water lapping at the bottom of section. Breakfast on the deck and listen to the doves in the pohutukawa trees. 10 minutes to shopping malls and there are lots of boardwalks on the point to get away into the lovely native bush. Tea coffee etc provided. Your own private parking on site as well and there is no traffic noise in the cottage so don't be put off by the location to the bridge everyone loves their stay here and so will you.
