You'll be met at the wharf and driven to your modern boutique accomodation on sunny Elizabeth Point with panoramic views of Kawau Bay,Casually luxurious, designed to top end standards - the house is fully self contained with all amenities you could wish for . See wild life, take a 45 minute walk to beautifull Mansion House and the old Copper Mine, swim, fish, dive and relax. Take a quick water taxi to the mainland and visit the many vineyards on the"Matakana coast wine country"and make the experience a gastronomic treat.
We live part time on the property, but your accommodation is a seperate private building sited on the hill behind our house. Availabe for use are : 4 seater golf cart, double kayak. Enjoy the beaches with clear safe swimming, snorkling and diving
Only 45 min from Auckland to Sandspit and 20 min water taxi ride.Ferry and shuttles run at set times or a taxi can be booked at any time . Vehicles can be left in the security car park at Sandspit at $10.00 per night. As there are no shops on Kawau, we offer self catering or fully catered...menu's and prices available.
