Orere Pt is a peaceful hideaway less than one hour's drive from Auckland or airport. Take leisurely drive to Orere Pt via Whitford or Papakura, through Clevedon, optional stop to pick up Clevedon oysters, before reaching Kawakawa Bay. Then head for Orere Pt, just off Pacific Coast Highway. The beach is safe and sheltered for the kids along with some great fishing spots. Total relaxing spot with good walking tracks down to beach, or drive along coast to Kaiaua's famous fish & chip shop and Miranda hot pools. Thames is a half hour drive from Orere. Supplies available from Orere Pt general store, inc. beer/wine. Therapeutic massage available at Tui Cottage, a two minute walk from beachhouse.

Our beach house has awesome seaviews, is one level with indoor/outdoor flow to barbeque area and safe fenced area for the kids to play in whilst you sit back and enjoy a beer or glass of wine. Watch the bunnies or birds am or pm and view the stars at night from a clear sky. Access via several tracks down to beautiful quiet clean sandy beach, where you can gather a few tasty mussels. A great escape from Auckland!
