Description
Patangatanga (Maori for Starfish) is a fully renovated original 1920's Waiheke bach located in Surfdale Village. There is a double bedroom, a twin room and a small bunk room. There is a sofa-bed in the lounge. The kitchen is fully equipped. The lounge has a TV, DVD, portable stereo, games, books, and local information folder. A cot and highchair are available on request. A BBQ is kept in the garage. It lies on the bus route connecting it frequently to the Fuller's Ferry and all main locations on the Island. The bach is a cosy retreat, a stroll from Hook's Beach along a bridle path at end of the garden. The beach is excellent for swimming, snorkelling, sun bathing, sailing, and wind surfing. Cafes, dairy, Malone's Irish Music Bar, The Waihitian, and other shops and venues are just around the corner.
