We had an absolutely perfect weekend, thank you. The weather was great, the lake was flat, we wore ourselves out mountain biking, and made good use of the BBQ and of course the TV for the world cup final. J You really do have a special place there……. We will definitely be back!

You're just 20 scenic minutes from Rotorua via Buried village, Blue Lake and Redwood Forest. Hermione Cottage is a favourite base for many lakeside walks ...eg. The cottage is immaculately cared for with nothing missing…with 3 little ones the ability to swim, explore for wildlife, bushwalk, fish and launch the boat, all at your feet would be difficult to replicate anywhere in the world.”

“We have stayed at Hermione cottage twice in the last 2 years. It is always spotlessly clean and well maintained,we found it to be one of NZ’s most beautiful tranquil spots. We had a family weekend there and our family thought it was a great setting right on the waters edge.Plenty of room for the grandchildren to play.They just loved it.We have a boat and the facilities for that were great. The owners Jennifer & Dean are a lovely couple and were great to deal with.We will return to this beautiful paradise that we enjoy so much.
