Description
Turn off SH2 halfway beween Te Puke and Whakatane on the Bay of Plenty coastline to find this well-equipped cottage beside the Mimiha stream in the peaceful, beautiful Mimiha Valley, less than 1km from the main road and beach. In new condition and very neat, your comfort is assured. Everything is provided including your first breakfasts; just bring your food and consumables! ( More breakfasts by arrangement.) A paved, sheltered and furnished outdoor area provides privacy and outdoor living. There is plenty of room for parking, including space for a boat and/or trailer. You can bring your dog as long as he/she stays outside - kennel available for smaller breeds. Our fox terriers, Max & Mo, love company!
You can pick fruit, play with the dogs, feed the pig, play pentanque, relax in the beautiful garden and enjoy the outdoor spa pool.
Mimiha Road is no exit, and a delightful walk. The valley is quiet, peaceful and bordered on either side by rugged hills where you can climb to magnificent viws of the Bay of Plenty coastline from East Cape to Coromandel.
Come and enjoy this slice of heaven with the 2010 winners of AA Spirit of Hospitality award!

Jason & Kim, Australia 22/02/2007
“Thankyou so much for you warm hospitality, the New Year’s Eve BBQ (with great hamburgers Hilton!) the fresh veggies, the homemade preserves, a great cottage with great views, Mo & Max & Piggy (Miss Potter) for entertainment, the spa and to top it off you even managed to arrange some great weather for us! Oh, and nearly forgot – we loved sitting and relaxing in your amazing garden & also the quails visiting us every morning and evening. Thanks so much for a great week.”
Emma and Kevin, Auckland 30/12/2008
“We shall really miss your lovely home plus the dogs, and the singing we did that night; really got to know each others cultures better, bringing everyone closer together.
