Nestled in bush at a secluded coastal location 2k from the mouth of the Motu River, Oariki Coastal Cottage is a fully self-contained cottage next to the house orchard. Our 34 Acre property enjoys a boundary with the Pacific Ocean with views of active volcano Whakaari (White Island). A great place for good fishing, swimming, beach walking and quiet relaxation. Sleep to the sound of the ocean and wake to the sound of birds. The cottage has a restfull decor and a log fire in a stone fireplace.The beach is only a five minute walk from the cottage. We can provide meals in the main house if required. We can also arrange rafting, fishing, riding, kayaking, jet boating and walking. The nearest store is 16 kms and the nearest town 40 kms. NO TV!! On some maps Maraenui is shown as Houpoto. You will need our directions to find this peaceful hideaway
