Maruata operates on a three tier tariff structure depending on the length of intended stay. Rates are applicable for either a family of 4 or up to 2 couples or individual(s) and is inclusive of full property use.

Description
MARUATA - Mud Hut is a locally Māori owned boutique accommodation for individuals, couples or a family of four. Centrally located to the bubbling mud pools of Kuirau Park, Maruata is an oasis of Māori art, contemporary literature and mod-cons (plasma screen, heated tile walk-in shower, extremely comfy beds etc) and boasts its own outdoor thermal bath (best experienced at night under the stars) after a day of exploring and discovery.
In the spirit of manaakitanga (hosting of guests) there is always a fresh loaf of Rewena bread awaiting guests on arrival, as well as a stock of kawakawa tea, coffee and fresh milk. As part of the overall kaupapa (theme) of Maruata, various Māori owned wine and beer produce is available on a on-consumption charge basis and includes Tohu and Tapata Wines and Tākawa (Kawakawa) Beer.
Maruata is also full of informative information for guests to gain an insight into Te Ao Maori; The Maori World via a range of topical Māori literature, magazines and informative DVDs. Furthermore, we can also act as specialist advisors for additional experiences (cultural or otherwise) that guests may like to undertake while in Rotorua.
