Greenwood Lodge offers seclusion, space, spectacular uninterrupted views and a front lawn that is right on the shores of Lake Taupo. Taupo township is just two minutes away, golf is five minutes away and skiing at Mount Ruapehu is 65 minutes away. The house is a substantial native timbered holiday retreat. There is a large comfortable living area with an open fire, a large veranda that looks out across to Mount Ruapehu, Ngauruhoe and Tongariro, and a sizable front lawn. The water along this strip is heated by natural thermal hot springs giving it its name – Hotwater Beach. The same springs also supply the house with water for the heated indoor thermal hot tub.
