There is a BBQ, outdoor furniture,gas heater and brazier for marshmallows!, Also a kayak and fish smoker for those of of you lucky enough to catch the elusive trout!!
Kuratau is a popular family holiday destination with a fully serviced store, which now also sells pizza and takeaways for those lazy days! The Floating Rock Cafe (open in summer) situated in the vineyards,is a leisurely 5 min walk away .We have tennis courts, playground, round the corner, we are a 5 min walk to the river mouth, swimming in the lake or the boat ramps. It is a 10 min drive to Tokaanu thermal hot pools, 15 min to Turangi Shopping Centre, 40 min to Whakapapa Skifield, or 40 min to Taupo. Two night minimum stay.
