Description

Motuoapa is perfectly positioned for everything that the Taupo district has to offer. Easy access to fishing (boat ramp at the marina for the lake, and a few minutes drive to the Tongariro, Tauranga-Taupo and other great rivers), water sports and lake beaches. It is a 10 minute drive to Turangi and shopping (including a great New World), 15 minutes to the thermal pools at Tokaanu, 25 minutes to the bright lights of Taupo itself and 40 minutes or so to National Park and the slopes of Mt Ruapehu

In the true nature of a Kiwi Bach, our aim is to continually improve the bach as money and time allows. The bach is already fully kitted out but we have just added an extra oil filled heater for those winter ski trips, and also a large supply of firewood for sitting around the outdoor fire. Future plans include fully fencing the section to make it pet friendly, and my main goal is to add a wood fired hot tub...
