Our holiday home is situated five minutes from the Whakapapa River, the Tongariro Forest and the end of the 42nd Traverse. Twenty five minutes drive from Whakapapa Village on Mt Ruapehu. It offers comfort and privacy. The house is totally self contained to compliment your ultimate holiday experience Well suited for people wishing to explore the Central Plateau and surrounds the chalet is also ideal as a retreat for writers and artists.

Steeped in heritage, history and the ultimate in mountain and river experiences Ruapehu and its surrounds is a unique place to visit at any time of the year. Serene and majestic with stunning rivers and native forests, there is ample opportunities for adventure.
There are a range of activities on offer to suit all tastes, ages, budgets and fitness levels These include fly fishing , mountain biking , 4 wheel drive tracks, skiing and snowboarding , kayaking, canoeing, swimming ( summer only!) multi sport training, tramping, hiking, guided walks, mountain climbing, Maori culture, nature and eco tourism, museums and art galleries and caving.
