Description

QT Cottage is situated in a quiet street adjacent to the world famous Tongariro River. This sunny, warm, and spacious holiday home is surrounded by a mature garden and birdlife abounds in the native flora. QT Cottage contains a modern kitchen, spacious dining and open plan living. Seperate French doors open to a morning patio and an expansive afternoon deck provide great indoor/outdoor flow.

Ideally situated for fishing the Lower Tongariro, Lake Taupo and surrounding rivers. Within 30 minutes drive from skifields, Tongariro National Park and Taupo.There are a number of walking and mountain-bike trails within the local area. Tokannu Hot Pools is just 10 minutes drive away.

Turangi town centre is an easy 15 minute walk (or 5 minute drive) along a tree-lined street, a river walkway and through a municipal roadside reserve. The township is well equiped with Banks, Post Office, Supermarket and a number of pleasant cafes and restaurants. A number of specialist angling sportshops can provide all your angling needs as well as advise on local fishing conditions.

Closest commercial Airport is at Taupo which is a 25 minute drive. Local air field for light aircraft is five minutes walk away.
