Description

The house provides everything you need for a comfortable stay. Digital Sky Receiver but you need to bring your decoder from home with you, otherwise Freeview TV available with 8 channels. Turangi is the ideal base for fishermen, skiers & walkers. Turangi is surrounded by so many options for relaxation. It has some of the best walks in the world including the Tongaririo Crossing, the best trout fishing in "The Tongariro" and great sking options with Whakakpapa skifield just 40 mins away. The trout hatchery just south of Turangi is usually overlooked by the visitor but is a must see. The shopping centre boasts several nice shops, check out Julie's for really nice womens clothing, the mall has a new shoe outlet store with great bargains on top brand shoes and the haberdashery on the corner is full of surprises. The Tokaanu hot pools are excellent and we highly recommend the FREE thermal walk behind the hot pools. Bring your own linen.
