Description
Cooks Beach is great for a relaxing holiday with family and friends. The beach is an ideal family beach (a one minute walk from the bach)and very safe, is good for surfcasting, fishing in the bay and kayaking.
The bach has a large deck with seating, and a flat concreted area suitable for parking cars and boats.
A BBQ is provided on the deck
The bach is within walking distance to a cafe/restaurant, liquor store, takeaway outlet, diary and hardware store. The passenger ferry to Whitianga is a 5 minute drive. Also nearby are tennis courts and a golf course.
Hot Water Beach, Hahei and Cathedral Cove are a 10 minute drive from the bach.
Cooks Beach is a great place from which to tour around the Coromandel, or to just relax on the beach.
