“Gorgeous setting – quiet, beautiful, private and so central to all the places we love: Hot Water Beach, Cathedral Cove, Hahei, Ferry Landing, Purangi Wine Estate and Whitianga… The old school is charming and comfortably fitted out. “One word…...Heavenly!!! We found ourselves in an absolute little haven, when we arrived on a rainy Friday afternoon. The cottage was cosy and immaculate. Everything has been thought of, so one really only has to pack clothes and food. The views from the veranda are awe inspiring and beg for lazy coffee’s in the morning, while looking across the fields (and resident donkey) at the glistening ocean. Our kids had a ball. They fell in love with the animals and made new friends. A return visit is definately on the cards. Thank you :-)”

“The School house was a great place to stay and so suitable for young children – our daughter loved feeding the donkey and checking out the chickens. Quiet, relaxing & super comfortable and Graham & Liz were so helpful and friendly it really made the whole holiday. Would thoroughly recommend staying here to anyone. Wish we lived closer so we could visit more often.”
