Description
This home is absolute beach front, with views over the bay back to Wainui beach. Makarori has a laid back community culture, perfect for that relaxing holiday. The beach is safe for swimming, and has many surf breaks suitable for all levels of surfers from beginers to those with advanced skills. The reef at the northern end of the beach is suitable for diving, find a crayfish or paua for dinner. The southern end of the beach has scenic walkways, with views over Makarori, Wainui, and back to Gisborne. Drive for 30 minutes to Tolaga Bay to walk/fish off the historic Tolaga Bay Wharf, or walk Cooks Cove Walkway. The home is set up for family life, with a spacious kitchen, open plan living, and sleeps up to thirteen people. Off street parking is available for two vehicles, or one car and a boat, with plenty of parking on the street. The boat ramp is a two minute drive away at Tatapouri, or launch your dinghy off the beach directly in front of the bach. Makarori is only a five minute drive to Wainui for cafe, restaurant and bar life, and a ten minute drive to Gisborne city.

I did my shopping before we went out to bach and for something which i have forgotten was being found by me in the pantry. Location of Bach is superb, just out frowm your front yard onto brach. I was accompanied by my family and a 5 month old golden retriever who loved it to bits. Bach even had a proper dog kennel. We loved location, hospitality and bach to bits and cant wait to make another trip to Makarori. I am highly recomending to anyone to try this as you will not regret when you visit this bach.”
