Donna and Graham welcome you to 'BONNIE DOON' BACH, our traditional, nostalgic and romantic self contained and furnished city stay, situated around the corner from the Botanic gardens in Central Napier, back off Carlyle steet, behind the first row of houses. Enjoy a 5 minute drive or 20 minute flat walk east through Napier's popular 'ART DECO QUARTER' (Central Business District) and cafe culture, to the Marine Parade with it's beach, cycle/walkway, National Aquarium of NZ, Memorial Event Centre, playgrounds, restaurants, hot pool complex, foreshore parks and gardens. Also a 5 minute drive or 20 minute flat walk norwest to Ahuriri (Napier's port suburb) with it's lagoon, boardwalk, restaurants, cafes, shops, parks, jetty fishing, playgrounds and sandy beach. Our bach is decorated and furnished in a traditional 'Kiwi Bach' style. A TRADITIONAL 'KIWI BACH' is a colloquial North Island term referring to a basic secondary abode / temporary escape / retreat / simple furniture / extended family and friends / books / magazines/ carefree / childlike / nostalgic.................
