Description

Comfortably appointed, two bedroom cottage, One street back from the beach but with foot access through the vacant section in front. Great views. Sleeps 5. The living area opens onto a generous deck and a flat lawn for games and tents. Enjoying a wine on the deck watching the spectacular sunsets is a must.
Make family holiday memories here or just take some quiet time out in one of Northland’s “must see” places, The Hokianga retains the essence of old time New Zealand with its relaxed and laid back attitude. Enjoy the lovely, white, sandy beach. The shops and boat ramp near by. The area offers walks, fishing, surf-casting, sand-boarding, windsurfing, boating, horse-riding, wining and dining or just chilling out. Approximately 1 hour from Kerikeri and 3-4 hours from Auckland. Drive up State Highway 1 to the foot of the Brynderwyn Hills (about 100kms north of Auckland) and turn left onto State Highway 12 to Dargaville then up through the Waipoua Forest. Dargaville to Omapere is about 65-75 minutes. Be prepared to stop to take in your first glimpse of the Hokianga Harbour.
