Staffa Bay is a stunning safe swimming beach at the eastern end of Woolleys Bay, near Matapouri, on the Tutukaka Coast. Nestled in the glorious native bush including a nikau palm grove, the house is situated right on the beach with a magnificent view over Woolleys Bay and the sea. This private, comfortable, peaceful home designed by Warwick Lee provides a unique retreat, with its own beach access it's 25 metres from door to beach. 5 minute walk to the magical Whale Bay Reserve.
Limit of six guests in summer due to water usage (single watertank).

“We had a wonderful holiday at Staffa Bay. Waking up each day and looking out along Woolleys bay was very relaxing.The house had plenty of space with a large dining table for us to sit around at night. No TV was a bonus. The beach is just below the house, so no need to walk via a public road, or get in the car. Plenty to do in the area – all in all, a great spot and we will return. “

“A divine Easter at Staffa Bay, the house is great and has a warm and welcoming feeling that leaves you feeling right at home, we loved that there is no TV! The beach is just amazing, waking to the sound of gentle waves crashing is such bliss, post Easter we too had the beach to ourselves, the water bracing but still do-able at Easter. Highly reccommend the house and location, the owner has been fantastic to deal with and hopefully we will be going back for more!!!”
