Surf beach with boat ramp access all within just 5 minutes walk. Beach also suitable for swimming and there is river access with great swimming holes. Good place for relaxed family holidays. Childrens park within short walking distance. The bach is in a handy location for contracters working at fonterra or in the oil and gas fields.(long term rates available)

“The place is ideally located for exploring South Taranaki. Set in a quiet beach side village.
The traditional farm house style kitchen was perfectly matched to the backdrop scenery of the farm land and cattle grazing out over the river.
Although our visit was in autumn the sun streamed in to the living area thru the French doors making for a relaxed warm and cosy atmosphere. Very private and quiet.
Well equipped with pretty much all you will need – It really was the authentic kiwi bach which added a special element to our whole holiday experience.
I wish we could have stayed longer.
