Description
Butterfly bach sits on the cliff top at Whatarangi, a small settlement located just 10 minutes from Lake Ferry, and 2.5 Kms from the Pinnacles. It is a real slice of Kiwiana with the bach being comfortable yet rustic, warm in the winer with a roaring log fire (firewood supplied), and plenty of oudoor space for those summer days on the deck. The sunsets over the Kaikouras in the South Island are spectacular. It is fully equipped including basic pantry items, and there are many return renters. It is close to Martinborough, the fishing village of Ngawi and to the lighthouse at Cape Palliser. There is excellent fishing and diving (crayfish and paua), and many fossils along the beachfront.

There is a queen size bed in the main bach with a dressing table, duvet and 4 pillows. The second bedroom can sleep 5 people, It has a queen sized base with a single bed on top, and two single beds. All beds have mattress protectors, pillows and duvets but you need to bring your own sheets and pillow cases with you.
