Barry George - Roaming Buffalo Artwork - Lower Hutt
Description
My name is Barry George. The reason I call myself "Roaming Buffalo" is because I like to roam around a lot as far as travelling goes, and the buffalo came about by going to America and having an interest in the Indians.
I started drawing at an early age, like most kids do, but continued on and it went from a hobby to a passion. I am a self-taught artist - portraits are my strong point, but I have learnt to take on most subjects through doing commission work for people.
I paint in most mediums: oils, acrylics, pencils, charcoals, or anything i can draw with - woodburning has been a new medium for me and sculpture brings a new challenge as well.
Please visit my gallery - here you will find some of my original paintings that I've done over the years.
