Mangaweka Adventure Company offer rafting & kayaking from 1 hour to 4 days. All of the trips are run on the Rangitikei River. "MAC" can provide a fun & memorable adventure for your family or work group. Minimum age 3 years old.
The Mangaweka International Airport Cafe is the base. Easily located on SH1 just underneath the iconic DC-3, only one hour north of Palmerston North and two hours south of Taupo.
If you would like to stay overnight, the Mangaweka Camping Grounds just 1km off SH1 and set along the Rangitikei River. Its an easy option for camping with or with out power under the native trees and powering Papa Cliffs.
