C'mas and New Year kept for family owners and sometimes Easter

If booked during week only i.e. Mon Tues Wed Thurs nights take $20 per night. This does not include Jan/Feb
If booked for one week plus other than Jan/Feb ask for special rate

Description

Waterfront location. Situated right on the beach, in this most desirable part of Akaroa, 10 minutes walk to the village. Mooring right in front of house available for use at own risk. Open plan living. Sheltered, very sunny and quiet - a wonderful home to live in. Superb view and expansive deck right on the water. Kitchen, living and master bedroom look straight out onto the sea which is just 5 metres from the house. It is a very sunny house capturing the sun till late in the day makes it very pleasant for bbq's etc.

The welcoming sound of the bellbird and the tui and the gentle lapping of the waves immediately puts you into holiday mode.

Please note that the downstairs bedroom is accessed by outside stairs or a ladder from the kitchen. Our children have always loved the access but not so good for elderly people and please make sure hatch from kitchen is not left open whilst using the house.
Heatpump and sun keep you warm in winter.

Warm in winter with heaters and open fire.
