Description
From the moment you wind you way down from the road you can be in your own private world yet only 30 minutes from Christchurch. This would be one of the best locations to relax so close to the city, yet handy enough to compute if you wish.
Our wee bach is warm and sheltered, cosy and comfortable and set in a tranquil garden. The view is fabulous, you can relax on the deck or lie in bed and look out across the harbour while listening to bird song. We get some fabulous days during autumn & winter down in the bay, sheltered away from the weather.
From the bottom of the garden you can walk down the track to the jetty or safe swimming beach.
Church Bay is close to Orton Bradley Park, Charteris Bay Golf Club and Diamond Harbour where you can catch the ferry across to Quail Island and Lyttleton. There is a store at both Church Bay and Diamond Harbour for basic requirements.

Reviews
“A true kiwiana bach – with a view to die for. We found the time extremely relaxing and a real bach experience. The bach suits two couples rather than families with young children, due to the bedrooms being on different levels. We would happily stay again. “
