It is just a short 40 minute drive from Christchurch that brings you to the tranquil setting of Church Bay. This house is lovely and sunny with spectacular uninterrupted views of the Godley Heads and Diamond Harbour. Just sit back, or lie in bed and relax whilst watching the yachts and ships pass by.
It is the perfect place to unwind and relax. If you feel like doing more it is just 30min walk to Diamond Harbour where you will find a cafe and Godley House restaurant and Beer Garden. There is a beautiful Cliff top path directly in front of the house that will take you around to the Diamond Harbour- Lyttelton Ferry. The ferry trip takes only 10 minutes and there are many bars and restaurants in Lyttelton and the bus to Christchurch meets the ferry boat.
The cliff top path is one of the many walks available, from easy strolls to more challenging treks up Mount Herbert.
There is a pebble beach near the house and sand beach at Purau and Charteris bay.
The house is very well heated with a heat pump and log burner-the house is double glazed and gets loads of sunshine.
