Description

Waimarama offers comfortable accommodation in a self-contained studio. Waimarama (moonlight on the water) overlooks Lyttelton Harbour and out to the Heads. The address is 93 Waipapa Ave, Diamond Harobur.
You will be free to wander round the garden and maybe enjoy some of what the garden produces. Bellbirds provide the background music and native pigeons the acrobatics.
There are plenty of walks: a couple of hours up Mt Herbert and you can see for miles in all directions. Or along the cliffs, or one of the many Banks Peninsula walks. There are harbour cruises (from Lyttelton) to see the dolphins plus tennis, croquet, bowls, golf a short drive away at Charteris Bay. Our local shop has a cafe. Restaurants available in Lyttelton and Governor's Bay. The award winning Black Cat compnay operates a seven minute passenger ferry service between Diamond Harbour and Lyttelton. Before or after you ride the great new Rail Trail to Little River, relax at Waimarama. Wifi available.
