Description

Paddy's Pad is a simple family bach located at the end of Manuka Bay Road with fantastic sea views east and north to the seaward Kaikouras. Gore Bay is just 3 km away along a pretty coastal road. Nearer to home, Manuka Bay is a pleasant walk down the farm track. While Manuka Bay's not a swimming beach, it's a great place for rambling and beach-combing, and has a lovely view south to Banks Peninsula. The Hurunui River Mouth is in the next bay past the southern promontory, and is accessible at low tide. Take the kids rock-hopping in any direction along the shoreline and see seals, penguins, and other wildlife.

Activities in and around Paddy's Pad include swimming, surfing, fishing, walks, tennis, and golf. Cheviot is just 11 km away and has a supermarket, pub, several cafes, and plenty of ice creams for all.
