$35 per night pp for accommodation
$15 children under 12, under 5 free

Accommodation & BYO Horse Trek
$60 per night, per horse(BYO) and rider. (Peak season rate)

$45 per night, per horse(BYO) and rider. (Off Peak season rate JUNE, JULY, AUGUST ONLY)

$25 per one day BYO horse trek NO ACCOMMODATION.

Dogs
$5 per dog by prior arrangement only. Dogs bought to Mt Sandford without prior arrangement will be charged $20 per night. They must have a current vaccination card.

Description

Mt Sandford Farm Stay & Random Rides is a combination of the Traditional Kiwi Farm Stay with BYO independent horse trekking.We offer a neat fully self contained cottage that has great rustic charm. It has awesome views and is a great place to unwind.It has also been recently renovated.

There are many activities such as tramping, mountain biking(BYO), dirt biking(BYO) horse trekking(BYO) around the farm. You could also enjoy the trout and salmon fishing at the mighty Hurunui (5mins by car-guide available on request). We can also offer some farming activities that you are welcome to participate in such as mustering, sheep & cattle work.

BYO Horse Trekking- Guests bring their own horses and are provided with an extensive farm map, with recommended rides highlighted, and they are then free to self-guide over the farm, depending on the time and pace they want. There are holding paddocks provided for the horses.

You will find us, just over an hour's drive from both Christchurch and Kaikoura
