A lovely 1976 3 bedroom cottage with open space ceilings, refurbished 2009 in the township of Springfield on the main road, perfect for Tranz Alpine train journeys, mountainbiking in the Craigieburns or Wharfedale Track, close to Mt Torlesse station for off road events.
The cottage is part of Smylies Accommodation which can do Japanese and NZ meals, has a extensive library and DVD collection.
Springfield is the gateway to the alps with lots of activities such as jetboating, fishing, bouldering, horseriding and skiing, Porters is only 20 min away and the international airport only 40 min. It is the perfect place to stop.
