Description

The cottage is very comfortable. It has a quiet location amongst extensive gardens away from the main house. Sea views over the Bay to the surrounding hills.
Birdlife is abundant. Step out onto a small deck with table and chairs. This is the perfect place to enjoy the Bay, surrounding hills and the setting sun.
It is a short stroll down to the beautiful Takamatua Bay.
Coffee, Tea, home baking and some ingredients for a scrumptous Breakfast are provided. Or you may pay a little extra and come to the main house to join other guests for breakfast at 9am. The choice is completely yours.
Takamatua is on the outskirst of Akaroa. There is swimming and beautiful walks available locally or there is the option going out on the harbour from Akaroa. This is a most beautiful place to come for some rest and relaxation.
