Join us in the majestic upper Rakaia river valley at Double Hill Station.
Our unique high country retreat offers complete packages from accommodation only through to Mt Cook scenic flights and heli bbq's utilising our own helicopter operaton based beside our lodge.

We are located 50 mins west of Methven. Your adventure begins with a picturesque drive winding up the South bank of the braided Rakaia river system. Leave your worries behind you, explore native bush and waterfalls, relax and soak in the hot tub or fill your break away with adrenilin pumping helicopter activities. Hunting and fishing opportunities are a plenty in the mountains and rivers right at your doorstep!
