Tariff

$100 to $160.00 per night for two people. $20 extra per person per night. Minimum stay 4 nights.

Off peak prices can be negotiated as can longer rentals.

Service fee payable in advance ($100) and refundable at the end of your stay if the bach is left clean and tidy.

Description

This lovely cottage is eco friendly. There is no electricity so we use a wetback to heat the water and have a gas fridg and stove. There is also a kettle barbeque. If you like electric lighting in the evening we have a generator, although most people prefer candles.

Our birdlife is wonderful. We have a friendly weka who will feed from your hand, beautiful tuis and bellbirds, quail and fantails, waxeyes, sparrows and woodpigeons. Our resident penguins can be somewhat noisy at times but with gentle persuasion can be encouraged to vacate!

Grocery deliveries can be arranged by ringing the local supermarket. Cougarline makes 4 trips to and from the Bay of Many Coves daily, during the summer season.
We fish from the end of the jetty and also from the dinghy and also have a plentiful supply of blue mussels on the rocks around the beach.

We have the occasional sighting of dolphins, eagle rays and seals.

Sunhaven is half an hour by boat from Picton.

The cottage has lovely sun in the afternoons so that is the time to swim and relax.
