Description

Two, adjacent, character board & batten beach houses have been designed to optimize time with family or friends.
Sun-filled living areas open out onto north-facing decks. Both decks are surrounded by bush and overlook the water. Only native birds disturb the solitude. Inside is modern, clean and easy care, with glowing wood floors. From a woodburning stove with wetback and radiators, to insect screens on the windows; every aspect of your comfort is catered for. Drive on access leads to a flat area for parking. The private, golden shingle beach is accessed by a little path through the bush. Even at high tide there is ample room for picnics and small boats on the foreshore.
Mahau Sound offers swimming, boating, waterskiing and fishing. The environs have good walking and mountain biking on the Queen Charlotte Track. Restaurants, bars and grocery stores are a short drive away on sealed roads.
