Description

Just over one hour from Nelson or Blenheim, tar sealed road on French Pass road. Okiwi Bay offers fishing, swimming, diving, bushwalks, glow-worms, boat ramp, shop, petrol, diesel. Fully furnished, large lounge, logfire, very comfortable. Peaceful, listen to the birds, relaxing waterfront sea view. Safe swimming beach 3 min walk. 50 metres to waters edge. TV, fridge/freezer, microwave, auto washing machine, bath, two toilets, shower, BBQ area (bring own gas bottle), fenced, flat section, ample car parking. Suitable young children. 100 metres to childrens' playground. One hour drive to French Pass, Cafe and bar with restaurant within the bay. Native busy surrounds the hills and drive in. Walking track with views takes approx 2 hr. Track can be negotiated by skilled biker. Scallop bed and cod fishing just out from bay. Other fishing include snapper,gurnet, rig etc.
