“Our stay was too short, so we would love to come back soon. We love the cottage, the river, the space, the mountains and the shower! You are wonderful hosts and an absolute credit to New Zealand. Thank you for your generosity and making us feel so welcome. It was a privilege staying here.

“We spent a delightful two weeks touring New Zealand’s North and South Islands. Without qualification, the highlight of our trip was the three days spent with Jenny, Roland, Sarah and Ben at Spray Point. The Cobb Cottage accommodations were fantastic and exceeded our expectations. The Mapps, in their warm and friendly way, showed us the amazing sights in and around Spray Point and allowed us to become a part of their wonderful family during the time we were there. The natural beauty of the surrounding hills and mountains, abundant wildlife, and unique setting make Spray Point a special place that should not be missed.

“Solitude was most desperately sought and most fortunately found. Spray Point Cob Cottage is it. Highlights: the view from the deck, the shower, swimming in the Waihopai, falcons up the Cannister, mountain vista from up the hill, a fabuluos afternoon up the Spray. We’ll be back.
